Biography

Anthony J. Pearl joined our Board as Chair in May of 2025.  A graduate of Rice University (cum laude, 1992), and Harvard Law School (JD, cum laude, 1996), Anthony has practiced transactional law in a variety of law firm and corporate settings for nearly 30 years.  After beginning his practice as an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Anthony has spent over two decades in-house, first with Caesars Entertainment (as Associate General Counsel-Real Estate), and then with The Cosmopolitan (as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer), both based in Las Vegas.  Anthony then relocated to Melbourne, Australia in 2022, and took the role of Chief Legal and Compliance Officer for Crown Resorts, which he held until October of 2024.  After a 6 month sabbatical, Anthony relocated to Nassau, Bahamas in June of 2025, where he joined the Baha Mar resort as its General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.

Anthony has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate and transactional matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and partnerships, real estate development and leasing.  He also has deep experience in board and governance matters, having acted as corporate secretary in several of his companies.  Anthony currently lives in Nassau, Bahamas, and retains a home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
